Sports Bars in Toronto

Sports Bars in Toronto
Sports Bar TorontoToronto is a team town. Whether you follow the Jays, the Raptors, the leafs or the Grey Cup-winning Argos you know that Torontonians take sports seriously. That's why there are so many sports bars in our city, and why they're so popular!
I'm a Leafs and Jays fanatic, and I follow the Raps and the Argos closely. Point is I've seen the inside of a lot of sports bars. The best of them have three elements: a comfortable neighbourhood feel, affordability, and great food and service. There are plenty of examples of sports bars that just don't get it right, and a few shining models of ones that get it perfect.
St. Louis Bar and Grill
In my humble opinion, the booming St. Louis Bar and Grill franchise has created perfect sports bars throughout Ontario – including the locations in Toronto. There's a St. Louis about half a block from my apartment, and I've spent many happy hours there cheering on our teams. The appeal of St. Louis is simple -- good prices, good atmosphere, and great food and service.
The atmosphere is evident the second you walk in the door. You'll see fellow fans wearing jerseys and talking stats, TVs tuned to the sports stations, and friendly staff who are happy to welcome and serve you.
Soon you'll be sitting at a table or booth, drinking a pint of your favourite brew and studying the menu. If you're like me, you'll want to order one of everything – St. Louis has an amazing menu.
Signature Dishes
The two specialties of the house happen to be two favourites of mine: St. Louis Chicken Wings, and Ribs.
St. Louis does chicken wings better than anybody around, with more choice and more taste. At St. Louis Bar and Grill, you can order original or boneless wings by the pound. Every pound comes with a generous serving of signature golden fries and the franchise's Famous Garlic Dill Sauce. The restaurant boasts twenty flavours of wings, from Mild Salt & Pepper to Spicy Hotter Than Hell and from Chili Lime to Honey Garlic. Try them all!
Their ribs are also superb: savoury back ribs and meaty side ribs done to perfection by slow roasting and then grilling them until they melt in your mouth. Your choice of three original types of BBQ sauce and sides makes them your own.  You can choose from;
  • Smokey BBQ
  • Southern Style BBQ
  • Apple Butter
Great Food and Great Prices
Other menu choices include a wide range of appetizers, from Calamari to Nachos to Deep-Fried Pickles to St. Louis special Bacon-Wrapped Mac and Cheese. A full array of burgers is available, from 100% Angus Beef topped with bacon and cheese to Garlic Dill Chicken Burger to a vegetarian option. Sandwiches such as Beef Dip, Jerk Chicken, Pulled Pork, and a Triple-Decker Clubhouse are sure to please, along with soups and salads. Poutine, Chicken Fingers, and sides like Onion Chips and Sweet Potato Fries are also mouth-wateringly delicious.
The third element for a great sports bar experience, affordability, is definitely on display at St. Louis Bar and Grill. And while their everyday prices are excellent, you can save even more by taking advantage of their daily specials.
